Abstract
⺠Integral molar enthalpy is a proper variable to describe heat of adsorption under supercritical conditions. ⺠The strong confinement results in higher heat of adsorption. ⺠The behaviour of surface excess in a cylinder under supercritical conditions is similar to that on a flat surface. ⺠Supercritical adsorption is a densification process reflected by the behaviour of layer compressibility.
