Abstract
⺠The stable ionic liquid-based nanofluids containing gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) were prepared. ⺠Brownian motion should be one key effect factor in the heat transport processes of ionic liquid-based gold nanofluids. ⺠The results may shed lights on comprehensive understanding of heat transport mechanisms in nanofluids.
