Abstract
⺠Fluorination plays two opposite roles in fibrinogen stability. ⺠C8HONa and C8FONa monomers interact with fibrinogen paired-dimer without promoting dissociation. ⺠C12HONa and the protein promote the surfactant self-assembling (pearl necklace model).
