Abstract
► Fluids' dynamic wetting behavior was studied by sessile drop and Wilhelmy plate methods. ► Macroscopic flow geometry does not influence the wetting behavior of Newtonian fluids. ► Macroscopic flow geometry does influence the dynamic wetting behavior of non-Newtonian fluids. ► The mechanism is the macroscopic flow geometry only influence the viscosity distribution of non-Newtonian fluids.
