Abstract
⺠The Cotton-Mouton effect in iron-dextran complex solution is studied. ⺠A modified method of measurement allows the estimation of magnetic dipole moment. ⺠Anisotropy of the linear magneto-optical polarizability is also calculated. ⺠Molecular mass of the complex is estimated on the basis of light scattering measurements. ⺠Mean linear optical polarizability and its anisotropy are obtained.
