Abstract
⺠A facile and effective hydrothermal route was used to fabricate fluorescent nanocrystals. ⺠Uniform nanocrystals with spherical morphology and excellent up-conversion properties were obtained. ⺠The possible formation scheme for the nanocrystals prepared at different conditions is presented.
