Abstract
⺠Thermal stimuli, heating followed by cooling, induces growth of gold nanoparticles. ⺠Shrinkage of thermoresponsive polymers coating the nanoparticles causes the growth. ⺠No chemical depositions with gold ions are required for the growth.
