Abstract
⺠In situ formed magnesium hydroxide nanoparticles (MHp) could served as a excellent emulsion stabilizer. ⺠Owing to strong pH dependence during precipitation of MHp, MHp shows excellent pH-dependent and reversibility, which make it with pH-switchability for emulsion stability. ⺠The key rule for such phenomenon is a pH reversibility between ionic form and particle form, which may be applied to other metal hydroxide nanoparticles.
