Abstract
► Copper sulfide hollow spheres have been successfully synthesized. ► The reaction only occurs at the interface of an oil-in-water microemulsion. ► To form hollow spheres it is vital to establish a steady interfacial reaction rate. ► The size of the hollow spheres can be tailored by changing the content of oil phase.
