Abstract
Without surfactant particles at their point of zero charge interacted via van der Waals forces to yield a median viscosity. The viscosity had a maximum, due to hydrophobic forces, at monolayer coverage while at bilayer coverage and beyond the viscosity was low and Newtonian.
