Abstract
- Evolution of droplet size distribution for emulsion flow was experimentally obtained.
- The effect of a valve-like element on the droplet size distribution was quantified.
- A new breakage model for the dissipation size range was proposed.
- Parameter values for the breakage and coalescence models were estimated.
- Model predictions of the DeBroukere mean diameter has a 9% mean error.
