Abstract
- The co-oxidation of ammonia and isopropanol has been experimentally studied in supercritical water in a tubular reactor.
- Laboratory plant allows studying separately main operation variables.
- IPA/NH3 molar ratios between 0.125 and 0.25 improve ammonia removal.
- Excess oxygen and IPA only increase nitrate formation.
