Abstract
Transpiring wall reactor (TWR) can effectively overcome reactor corrosion and plugging problems in supercritical water oxidation by forming a protective water film on the internal surface of the reactor to avoid contacting corrosive species and precipitated organic salts. A systematic and detailed review on TWR investigations is provided.
