Abstract
⺠This device has shown to be a good tool for performing internal corrosion studies in real hydrocarbons production systems. ⺠Under deposit corrosion is the main corrosion mechanism in pipelines located at Venezuelan northeast. ⺠The presence of solids on the metal surface may interfere with the preventive action of the corrosion inhibitors.
