Abstract
⺠Particle breakage in a dense phase particulate system is a complex phenomenon. ⺠Breakage probability of particles is affected by multi-particle interactions. ⺠Broadbent and Calcott's breakage matrix methodology was substantially modified. ⺠A rigorous methodology was proposed to characterize and quantify the interactions. ⺠Breakage data from uniaxial compression of coarse-fines binary mixture were fitted.
