Abstract
⺠VUV alone and combined UV-C/VUV and VUV/UV-C had higher efficiencies. ⺠Lower H2O2 concentration is needed in VUV process. ⺠Batch mode had lower efficiency than continuous due to quick consumption of H2O2. ⺠Finding the optimum molar ratio H2O2/TOC is crucial to maximize removal efficiency. ⺠Photochemical processes were effective in inactivating bacteria in wastewater.
