Abstract
⺠We designed a multistep process to remove phospholipids from Jatropha oil. ⺠The temperature, amount of acid solution, and centrifuging speed have significant effects. ⺠Optimal values for operating parameters in this process were obtained. ⺠The kinematic viscosity and carbon residue of pure plant oil were also discussed.
