Abstract
⺠Capture of liquid aerosol in granular moving bed. ⺠Experimental technique to quantify capture using salt-laden aerosol. ⺠Capture efficiency improves with increased height, particle flow and gas flow. ⺠Capture parameters based on surface area flux and dimensionless grouping evaluated. ⺠Fixed bed dispersion model showed good potential to quantify capture efficiency.
