Abstract
⺠Ibuprofen crystal growth rates in ethanol and aqueous ethanol measured. ⺠Growth kinetics are first order. ⺠Growth rate coefficient varies with temperature with an activation energy of 13.7 kJ/mol. ⺠With aqueous ethanol the growth rate coefficient varies log-linearly with water content depending on the temperature. ⺠Material exhibits growth rate dispersion (GRD).
