Abstract
⸠Characterisation case study completed for Blast Furnace Gas at the Tata Port Talbot Steelworks. ⸠Dynamics of gaseous composition chromatographically analysed. ⸠Particulate contamination analysis completed yielded negligible results over 1.5 km from source. ⸠Site condensate analysis suggests distributed thermal scrubbing of the gas. ⸠Initial evidence also suggests a CO2 erosion mechanism of gas pipe work.
