Abstract
⺠In the heating mode outdoor coil fouling (area blockage) had the most effect on heating capacity. ⺠Overcharging with refrigerant had the most effect upon COP. ⺠More studies should be performed to determine how outdoor coil frosting affects faulty system behavior.
