Abstract
The electrode, transport, and selective properties of membranes based on alkyl sulphates and alkyl pyridinium tetraphenylborates enable their usage in multi-sensor systems (“electronic tongue”). The cross-sensitivity parameters of our surfactant sensors were determined and separate detection of several homologous ionic surfactant was performed by means of solid-contact potentiometric sensor arrays and artificial neural networks (ANN) in 2-5-component solutions of sodium alkyl sulphates and alkyl sulphonates, alkyl pyridinium chlorides. Optimal component ratios and concentration ranges of homologous ionic surfactant were established.
