Abstract
The kinetic behaviour of water sorption/de-sorption was investigated in polymer-salt complexes (PSC's) by observing the conductance variation over time. The conductance reached a steady state value through three processes with different kinetics occurring in different time regions. The three processes were singled out as, starting from the fastest one, surface adsorption, diffusion of water into the sample, and sample relaxation coupled with water sorption/de-sorption.
