Abstract
- Silver nanoclusters were proposed as a highly selective sensor for Fe2+.
- The color change upon the addition of Fe2+ can be observed by naked eye.
- The sensor can be used in 100% aqueous solution.
- Very low LOD of 76Â nM can be obtained.
- The sensor can be used to determine Fe2+ in iron supplement tablet samples.
