Abstract
⺠Combined ring rolling is a novel and significant ring rolling process. ⺠This method can manufacture rings with thick wall and deep groove. ⺠The dominant directions of metal flow are different at two rolling stages. ⺠The strain and temperature values of the groove surface are the maximum. ⺠Compared with conventional technology, the material saving of CRR is 19.1%.
