Abstract
⺠We report a psychometric study on lay investors' investment risk perception. ⺠Perceived risk is predicted by quantitative and qualitative aspects. ⺠Gender and age do not influence perceived investment risk. ⺠The higher the financial literacy the lower the perceived risk.
