Abstract
⺠Investment perspectives conceptualize interests as driving forces in knowledge acquisition. ⺠Low SES provides fewer opportunities to actively pursue learning experiences. ⺠We examined SES-interest-knowledge relations in a sample of adolescents. ⺠Interests did not substantially mediate SES-knowledge relations. ⺠SES positively moderated interest-knowledge associations across multiple domains.
