Abstract
⺠We conducted three studies to explore social influence of pathogen threat. ⺠Individual differences in disease concern predict self-reported conformity. ⺠Disease salience predicts conformity in abstract drawings evaluation. ⺠People perceive themselves to be more conforming when disease made salient.
