Abstract

âº We investigated how individual differences distinctively predict intergroup biases. âº Need for Structure predicted stereotyping; Authoritarianism and intergroup contact predicted prejudice. âº Stereotyping and prejudice had divergent dynamics with out-groups' entitativity. âº Integrating individual differences and group perception benefits the study of bias.
