Abstract
⺠I studied modifying effects of peer assessments' accuracy on heritability estimates. ⺠Peer and self-report data of personality from 1118 twin pairs were analyzed. ⺠Genetic variance in peer reports increased with accuracy of peer assessments. ⺠Genetic variance in self-report residuals decreased with peer reports' accuracy. ⺠Results indicate larger genetic effects on more accurately measured personality.
