Abstract
⺠We tested if participants' BJW interacted with ingroup identification. ⺠In Study 1 we measured victim derogation. ⺠In Study 2 we measured disidentification with the victim's group. ⺠Increased BJW and increased identification predicted victim's derogation. ⺠Increased BJW and group salience predicted disidentification with the victim's group.
