Abstract
► We tested if participants' BJW interacted with ingroup identification. ► In Study 1 we measured victim derogation. ► In Study 2 we measured disidentification with the victim's group. ► Increased BJW and increased identification predicted victim's derogation. ► Increased BJW and group salience predicted disidentification with the victim's group.
