Abstract
⺠We manipulated eyelid openness in facial images of two men. ⺠Eyelid openness influenced perceptions of mating strategy. ⺠Open eyelid images were more attractive, especially for long-term relationships. ⺠Participants' relationship preferences were consistent with behavioral attributions.
