Abstract
⺠We examined the structure and correlates of character strengths in 501 adolescents. ⺠Five factors underpinned the VIA-based character inventory. ⺠These factors did not correspond closely to the VIA classification. ⺠Temperance, Vitality, and Transcendence factors predicted happiness and well-being.
