Abstract
⺠Respondent inconsistency and its relationship to estimates reliability and validity of personality measures. ⺠Respondent inconsistency defined as the average within-dimension standard deviations. ⺠Reliabilities were largest for the most consistent respondents. ⺠Convergent and criterion validities were largest for the most consistent respondents.
