Abstract
⺠EI and group membership effects on emotion recognition were examined. ⺠The study included Caucasian and Far-East Asian participants. ⺠The picture stimuli used were of individuals from these two ethnic groups. ⺠An in-group advantage in negative emotion identification was found. ⺠EI was unrelated to emotional identification performance.
