Abstract
⺠We compared women who experienced completed or attempted victimization. ⺠Outcome measures included the SOI and consensual kissing and sex with victimizer. ⺠Completed, more than attempted, rape victims were more short-term mating oriented. ⺠Women's preferred mating strategy may predict their susceptibility to rape.
