Abstract
⺠We studied the factor structure of observer-judgments of interpersonal behavior. ⺠“Agency” and “Communion” (Wiggins, 1991) were the two strongest factors. ⺠Unexpectedly, a third “Emotional Stability” factor was also found. ⺠Emotional Stability may be better observable from outside than is often assumed. ⺠Factor coefficients and scores were replicable across observers and situations.
