Abstract
⺠We examine how different forms of passion predict affect in online gaming. ⺠In this, we control for the effects of general affect and craving. ⺠Harmonious passion predicts positive affect when gaming. ⺠Obsessive passion predicts negative affect when gaming. ⺠Furthermore, it predicts negative affect when prevented from gaming.
