Abstract
⺠Fifty one changes of EEG asymmetry were recorded during and after social-emotional stimulation. ⺠Poor habitual emotion regulation was associated with poor recovery from anxiety. ⺠Direction of changes during stimulation depended on habitual emotion perception. ⺠Emotion regulation was not important when stimulated with cheerfulness (laughter). ⺠Suggests differentiated and process-oriented approaches in the study of trait EI.
