Abstract
⺠Examined whether EI predicts entrepreneurship. ⺠Whether any effects are independent of Core Self-Evaluations, demographic variables, and entrepreneurial personality. ⺠Results show that trait EI predicts entrepreneurial outcomes beyond all other variables examined. ⺠Core Self-Evaluations and META also found to be significant predictors of entrepreneurship. ⺠The study has implications for entrepreneurship research, selection and vocational guidance.
