Abstract
⺠Relations between self-concealment and major secrets were examined. ⺠Two hundred and twenty one major secrets of a general population sample were analyzed. ⺠The hypotheses were generally corroborated. ⺠SC information refers to personal inadequacy, sorrow, and worry in particular. ⺠Results suggest SC regards personal, intimate, negatively valenced information.
