Abstract
⺠Construal Level Theory (CLT) is investigated in regard to episodic memory. ⺠Temporal judgments of Life Satisfaction (LS) were used in the study. ⺠LS was linked to abstract levels of construal. ⺠However, LS was not influenced by temporal distance as predicted by CLT. ⺠Judgments based on episodic memory might not be influenced as predicted by CLT.
