Abstract
⺠We analyze how early product adoption depends on experience with previous product generations. ⺠We develop predictive models of early adoption for four generations of video play technology. ⺠The model is tested using a survey among 815 Australian consumers. ⺠Previous generation variables outperform socio-demographic and psychographic variables.
