Abstract
⺠We examine how different organizations responded to a fuel cell hype cycle. ⺠We trace how organizations modified fuel cell innovation and discourse activities. ⺠We identify factors influencing organizations' sensitivity to expectation dynamics. ⺠We show how responses to expectation dynamics affected the innovation system.
