Abstract
⺠Odor evoked autobiographical memories (OEAMs) were cued by odors and words. ⺠Both cue modalities activated areas associated with autobiographical memory and olfaction. ⺠Odor cues activated regions linked with vividness and emotion more than word cues. ⺠Word cues triggered more prefrontal and odor cues more temporal areas.
