Abstract
⺠Biomass gasification for electricity generation in SSA region is proposed. ⺠Agro residue estimation in the region is carried out using established CRR. ⺠Power generation potential of about 15000 MW is possible in the region. ⺠Dual-fuel and gas engines based gasification systems both can be economical.
