Abstract
⺠Previous studies have associated personality traits with fertility behaviour. ⺠More than one third of pregnancies are non-planned. ⺠We demonstrate that personality is differently associated with planned vs. non-planned pregnancies. ⺠Personality may be especially important to fertility differences due to differences in the rates of non-planned pregnancies.
