Abstract
⺠Examines the personalities of midlife women who followed non-normative life paths. ⺠Three non-normative paths: high status professions, no children, single mothers. ⺠Each non-normative group exhibited unique combination of gendered traits. ⺠Differences at both scale and item levels. ⺠Discussion highlights social roles, and reasons for specific constellations of traits.
