Abstract
⺠We examine the effects of high school course of study on type of college attended. ⺠We investigate whether there are racially different effects for course of study. ⺠Courses of study predict type of college attended least for Whites. ⺠Minorities at mid-course levels are more likely to attend 4 yr colleges than Whites. ⺠Educational expectations mediate link between courses and institutions for Whites.
