Abstract
⺠We examine the impacts of the 2010 BP-DH disaster on mental and physical health. ⺠Negative impacts on mental and physical health are more marked during the disaster. ⺠Community attachment is shown to mitigate negative mental health impacts over time. ⺠Fishing households are shown to face especially negative health impacts. ⺠Effects of community attachment and fishing employment on health change over time.
